The other side of the teapot bears exactly the same print.  A "mirror image" print was not engraved for the reverse side, as was done at some factories.

This hybrid-hard-paste porcelain teapot was made at the Liverpool factory of Wolfe, Mason & Lucock.  It is printed with the Dagger Border Pagoda Pattern, one of a range popular printed chinoserie patterns produced by the factory.  However, a number of variations of this pattern occur and not all of these may originate from Wolfe's Liverpool factory.  Shards matching the version shown here were recovered from the factory...
