Description:

Pot lid with design depicting the interior of  Crystal Palace and titled THE INTERIOR OF THE GRAND INTERNATIONAL BUILDING OF 1851. For the Exhibition of Art and Industry of all Nations.  The multicolor printed lid was made for Crosse & Blackwell who registered meat pots of this kind as souvenir designs in October 1850.
