Mahomedan Mosque and Tomb, near Benares, opposite page 155 of Charles Ramus Forrest's A Picturesque Tour along the Rivers Ganges and Jumna in India, published in 1824 by Rudolf Ackermann, London.  The size of the print is 10.75 x 8 inches.

Description:

An earthenware plate from the Parrot Border series, a dinner service by an unknown maker.  The name of the pattern, as shown on the mark, is Mosque & c. nr. Benares.  This is a variation on the name of the source print, also illustrated.
