Description:

This earthenware plate printed in the Fair Mount near Philadelphia pattern shows a view of the Dam and Water Works at Fair Mount, Philadelphia, the second Water Works of Philadelphia.  The view includes the new Schuylkill buildings and the Dam.  The oval printed mark shown was used by both periods of Stubbs' potting, under Stubbs alone, or under the firm of Stubbs & Kent
