Maker: Wirksworth possibly Description: This plate is one of a small group of wares bearing this underglaze blue printed pattern of a Chinese pagoda. The porcelain body is a very translucent soft-paste, somewhat reminiscent of Derby. This has lead to the suggestion that these pieces may have been made at the Wirksworth factory in Derbyshire.
