Description:
A rare barrel shaped commemorative earthenware jug printed in blue with "CHARLES TELLER GERRANCE 1799" painted underglaze under the beak and with the well-documented Swansea Corn Husk border printed both inside and out. Printed on one side of the jug is the Fishing a Pond with Dip Net, and on the opposite side the Precarious Chinaman pattern is found. (See below.)BACK TO CATALOG INDEX
