An earthenware jug printed in blue with the Ship Chinoiserie pattern.  While the pattern is similar to the Flagbearer II pattern, the border is entirely different.  The outer border is printed with the Butterfly pattern. The inner border is an unknown Chinoiserie design.  The addition of a sailing ship, positioned under the beak of the jug, sets it apart as a unique pattern.  Whilst sailing ships are often found on Welsh jugs, it is not common to find the ship pattern combined with a Chinoiserie pattern.
