An unusual earthenware colander with molded handles printed in black in the Palm pattern. It probably had an accompanying under tray to collect any liquid passing through the pierced holes. Impressed on the underside is the three letter date code AGZ which dates the piece to 1871.BACK TO CATALOG INDEX
