Description:

A porcelain teapot printed in dark blue underglaze in the Two Temples II, variation Broseley pattern with extensive gilding including a floral pattern on spout, lid and body.  Davenport's pattern number 3588.   It is also printed with a retailer's mark for the company  Sandbach & Co., King St., Manchester.  This teapot was made for a dejuener tea set.  A partial set is shown below.
